Time to analyze. I am looking for 3 things.. (or 2, if you are direct linking)

This should give a general idea if you should dump it, or keep pumpin. If you think your deal needs more clicks, take another sample size, there’s no right answer. Looking at my data, I can see which combinations worked best, and use them, and ditch the others. For example, for the ads, I can look at which ad is getting the better CTR, keep that one, and ditch the other. The next thing, which lander is performing the best? You should be split testing all your landing pages, and offers, using prospers, landing page rotate script found here. It is all trial and error. Think of it like solving an equation like (x – 2)(2x – 3) . There is no explicit way to solve this problem, but to try numbers in x, and see what works. There may be ways, but if you took Calculus, you would understand what I mean. So, after a few tests, . Money Made > Money Spent? Good find ways to improve campaign, and keep kw’s converting, pumpin till they die out. Money Made < Money Spent? This part is up to you, you could ditch it, or take high performing elements of your campaign , and change out things you feel need improvement. If your getting high CTR on ads, but not landers. You may have good ads, but need some work on your landing pages. What do you do with a failed campaign?

My signature Wickedfire has gotten me some leads in the past, but nothing quite like this. Some member submitted this picture that was found on my signature , and just look at the response it got: http://digg.com/comedy/Money_Talks_Baby_Hell_Yeah_PIC. I kept the link, so you can see what category it was submitted too.It was very unfortunate he didn’t put diggalive.com in the URL, or we would for sure have some more readers by now. There was also a lot of comments, where I could of gone back and left replys. This at least will give you an idea of images users are Digging. This one must of ended up on the first page, it also has a ‘tag’ associated with it, which is for the higher Digged entries. What are some ways that you could monetize this situation? If I was in control of the URL, which I wish I was in this case, I could of pointed it to DiggaLive, and hoped to get some subscribers, or I could of created an offer page, or jumper, and linked it to that , with an offer. This could have been 2043 potential clicks, and definitely missed out. I would probably stick with something like an email submit, or 1 page submit. Dig traffic is not going to convert nearly as high as targeted traffic, but what’s the harm in testing. What kind of deals would work? I can answer that the same as almost any other question having to do with affiliate marketing, and that is …T E S T.

Have you found ways to monetize Digg Traffic? Let us know!

I’m going to start out this post by saying, I did not originally come up with this idea. This is one of the many reasons I stay active in the community of Internet, and Affiliate Marketers, and why you should too.

Originally I had asked the man Ruck, over at Convert2Media what some good ways to promote my offer with some organic traffic, besides PPC. The answer was short and simple, Yahoo Answers. I actually did not pursue this at first, because I felt it would take to long for the traffic to hit, if any at all, and it would be hard to convert that traffic. I was wrong on one thing already, and that was the amount of time it will take for you to get traffic after you answer the question. The first time I answered a question, with relevant information, and a good answer, I was reward quickly with traffic. If this remains true, think about all the niches that are out there, and how many categories there are on Yahoo Answer. Don’t sound like Spam, and if you actually answer some of the questions with the correct answers, you might be rewarded for it.

To get you guys thinking, what if you were to do this for every offer Convert2Media had to offer? With some time on your hands, and some relevant good content, your bound to get some conversions.

1.

Digg is by far the most popular social news site. It generates thousands of new articles each day, and and a ridiculous amount of traffic, but how do you convert that traffic into sales? Digg users never click adds, its a well known fact. It looks like Digg is up to something. Kevin announced a new potential revenue stream labeled “Diggable ads”. How would this type of advertising work? The official word isn’t out yet, however, it most likely will be along the same lines as Facebook ads, and the new Myspace ads. If this is true, us Affiliate Marketers have another stomping ground. Lets hope the they don’t go the same rout as Facebook and enforce strict guide lines. This could be a good opportunity for Digg, however, as I was mentioning before, currently, Digg users are not clicking ads. Lets hope Kevin Rose has something good planned for us, so we can all prosper.

http://www.networkworld.com/news/2008/100908-diggs-kevin-rose-we-have.html?t51hb

Would you try out Digg ads? I think my answer on this would be, any other stream to get out our affiliate campaigns the better, but will they convert?

To find a niche is one of the most important part of your road to online success. This will happen more than one time, but this may be the first time for you. Finding a niche for you to start out with can sometimes be time consuming, or it can just come to you.

One way to find a niche, is to find out what people are searching for. Everyone uses google trends for the hottest keywords, and had a history as well, but do some searching, and I’ll guarantee you there’s better ones out there.

Don’t just limit yourself to online, look around you in your everyday life. There’s tons of niches waiting right in front of you, ask around, what are people buying up?

One thing you can start out off with, is pick something you are passionate about, this way you can write some of your own content. Once you have your niche you are ready for some keyword analysis, and find out if you selected a well searched niche, with not an extraordinary amount of competition. You can use google keyword tool, to see the Search Numbers, and use Google search, to find your competition. Use exact phrase, so if your keyword was, skiing in aspen, you would want to find the exact phrase hits, so use “”’s. Look at those two numbers, and if they are low , you may have a winner.

What are some of your techniques on finding the best Niche?

LinkXL is the easiest way to get contextual links. What are contextual links, and why are they better than normal incomming links? How can I use this to make money on my existing blog, and how can I use this to get more links for the site at the same time

What is LinkXL?

LinkXL is the most advanced and safe way for you to purchase or sell relevant and quality contextual links.

What are contextual links, and why are they better?

Contextual links are links that are placed in the content that is relevant to the keyword anchor text.
What are Quality Back Links?

A quality back link is any link that has a higher Page Rank, and is relevant to the surrounding text. Google explicitly tells us that quality back links influences your search engine, and page rank. LinkXL’s features a patent pending technology which makes buying contextual a breeze.

Buying links

Do not be focused on PR. There are sites in there with 100,000’s of pages, and will have a PR0 unless the main page has some ridiculously high page rank.

LinkXL specialized in providing high quality links, in relevant content.

It is by far the fastest and easiest way for you to receive links on whatever your niche is, on relevant content sites.

What does this mean for your site?

Incoming links in the footer or header usually do not get noticed, and can get you tagged as a “link buyer”. LinkXL works under the radar. You will not be marked as a text link buyer.

Selling Links

LinkXL makes selling links off your site even easier than purchasing them.

Install the Wordpress plug-in, and let LinkXL do the rest of the work. A few things to remember when you have your LinkXL plug-in installed:

It is using your tags to index. – Make sure your tags contain your relevant keywords to your content you are writing about.

Remember the demographics of who is purchasing your links. – Chances are they know what they are looking for. Supply good unique content, with relevant tags to your content, and right away, you are supplying something that SEO professionals are looking for relevant textual links.

More posts + Relevant unique content = $- The more pages and posts your blog contains, the more possible pages that will get indexed by LinkXL, and more opportunities to sell links.

Let LinkXL do its magic – The best way is to install the plug-in, and SEO like you normally do, and you will be rewarded.

Give it a try, it is free to sell links, and could pay your next rent bill.

Have you tried LinkXL? What do you think? Post a comment, I would love to hear your experiences.

Try LinkXL.
